Caustic detonation and Toxic Assault both are supposed to amplify from set # of stacks of Toxic Aura. However their damage is not amplifying properly. I believe it's one of 2 things . It's either not combining the damage of each threshold together, or it just has not been updated to modern times.
Adjustments to these abilities would fix a class specific ability. (The same for the wizards version of stacks) Would like to see both classes get a fix for this.
