Invective is an odd spell in that it doesn't really hold a niche for us. It's a single-target no-concentration buff, so we might as well cast it, but its actual effect is usually negligible: in a lot of situations, damage from the strong buffs like ro's blade or grasp of bertoxxulous are almost absurd when compared side by side - they do damage that's several times higher 4 times as quickly.

I don't want to just ask for more damage here, though, because we can do something more interesting. We have AA that increases its proc rate, and it's a pretty long duration dot. What I'd like to do is to make this spell a very significant debuff that starts to do significant damage but only over the course of a very long fight, accomplishing this by making it apply increments/refresh the duration whenever it's proc'd. We'd keep the damage the same, but have it increment up to 10 times, and have a ~1000 combat mitigation debuff per increment at celestial. Because proc rate would increase the chance/rate of it stacking, the AA that modifies proc rate would no longer be useless, though on average it'd still probably take a few minutes to hit max stacks, and there'd be the chance you could get unlucky and not reach it at all. One element that does need to be changed is that it still only procs melee hits - it should be all spells/combat hits.

So in summary:
When proc fires, apply a stack/increment of deadly invective to the target, maximum of ten increments. Previous effect has the same damage, but now is multiplied by number of increments. Additional effect of ~1k (at celestial) combat mitigation debuff, also multiplied by number of increments. Can now proc off any hostile spell/combat hit, not just melee hits.
