Returning after 8 year hiatus

I was disturbed my characters are no longer on PVP server and wonder if it's worth it to transfer or wait and hope they will bring back an active PVP server.

No opinion on whether you should transfer. No idea if you even can - I avoid PVP at all costs.

Note that the "roadmap" for 2025 just came out. It did not mention new servers. So I wouldn't make any plans to play on any new server.

Honestly, I wouldn't hold my breath. EQ2 pvp is basically dead in the water. And whenever it's revived, by some miracle, the server is active for a week to two weeks, tops. Then everyone gets tired of the griefing and leaves.
