PLEASE DO not ram expansions through so quickly for this server!!!!

Most of us came to this server because we didn't like the wam bam thank you ma'am speed of the other TLEs. Four months is way too fast! TBH past the initial start of the game ... 6 to 7 months would be the sweet spot ... four months is way too fast. Six months would give people ample time to enjoy the content, level their crafters, clear the raid content as each expansions the raiding content becomes a bit more in depth with more mechanics.

I know Most of my guild which is one of the larger ones on this server are here because they didn't want the speed of the other TLE's. Please reconsider 4 months because to be honest I think that's going to drive the people away. You have a golden opportunity to keep this one different than the others .... don't ruin it by listening to the vocal minority who jump from TLE to TLE at mach 12. We don't want that!!!!

I have played this game for many, many years. I recently left the live server as the attraction to this server was a slower pace. I agree with Mauwi that your roadmap is far too fast. Six months is optimal to actually work through the content the game has to offer before another game update is launched. Please reconsider your timeline. I do not want to see a server so enjoyable become another ghost town.

DoF was only 5 months long when it first came out. It is not too fast.

KoS being 4-5 months here is a bit strange though.
oh you mean the original game ... gotcha .... i know we have been on the original game since june .... so we are on 7 months .. i feel like the population really started dropping about 6 weeks ago so again i will say 6 months is the sweet spot .. .anything faster is too fast.

6 months of DoF is wayy too much, even for casuals. Agree on KoS and EoF needing longer than 4 months. Those expacs deserve 6-7.

That said, you run the risk of losing people regardless. Some advance quickly and sit around doing nothing for 1+ months. Others are still working on signature quests, gear, etc 6 months in and get frustrated when the new one comes out.

IMO, 4 months of DoF is more than enough, even here. Again, KoS and EoF deserve 6+

The server will start losing population if you stretch it out to 6-7 months. 4 months if fine...5 months is pushing it IMO.
i don't believe that ... because the more content that is in the more there is to do people start leveling alts .... etc etc. 6 months is the sweet spot .... 4 months is way too fast. Its the squeaky wheel people who want to rush through **** that causes the super fast pace. Many of us only came here because of the slow pace .... when that goes out the window then too so will many of the players who came back after almost 15 years away from game due to how ****** live is ... we don't want things shoved through so quickly.

Note that some people expect the server to eventually get to "live". Others think it will hit a point where further changes run contradictory to its basic design and will stop there. Those who wxpect it to get to "live" do not view this with pleasure. Or they would *be* on "live".

The faster new content comes the less time to "live". People can do the math and if things are too fast they will bail now. A point in favor of slower than 4 month releases.

I can't imagine arguing that DoF should be longer or even nearly as long as it was on live. This isn't live in the year 2005. Everything is figured out, every quest has click to waypoint for every single quest update.

The sooner everyone accepts that it will never be a 1:1 ever again, the better off everyone will be. DoF was clearly intended to be included with KoS as a single expansion, or was meant to be a huge adventure pack and was launched as an expansion instead. Vanilla was around for 10 months, DoF only lasted for 5 before KoS launched which lasted 9 months. Things fell into a November yearly release after that until Smokejumper smoked this game into the ground.

5-6 month is good IMO. 4 for DoF as it is like 5 zones. Not really a lot of content there.

KoS is pretty much just 3 zones with one major dungeon per the three zones...

Varsoon is the first TLE in eight years that will get to the point when the TLEs launched eight years ago. Even a normal server doesn't make it to live.

Quite true - we are in uncharted territory here. A week ago I would also have said "probability zero". Now it may be as high as 1%.

It's still zero chance Origins makes it to live. Even at only 4 months per expansion, that's basically 7 years from now to catch live. Then figure in the 7 expansions live gets in those 7 years...

Interesting that it is all about what "you" want? If you and your crew want to go slow, then have at it. Other folks may want to move quicker. Let them move forward and ya'll can plod your way to whatever goal or destination you want. The server should not be held back by the wants of one or two guilds.

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I agree that a slower pace works best for Anashti Sul as far as the general feeling of the server goes. On the other hand, for selfish reasons, I want it sooner because I have a terminal illness and I was ELATED to find out I would probably live long enough to play Echoes of Faydwer on my favorite server. I know that's a bit of a bummer to drop in here at random, but I just wanted to put it out there in case the Powers That Be don't change the timeline and any of you need a small reason to feel happy about it. Sooner is better for at least one sad little noob, hahaha. Echoes of Faydwer in particular is the thing I've been hoping for - the other expansions are okay but not the one I've been pining for the most, as it is the expansion that offers the most for people who are not at max level. :)

That said, I don't begrudge the rest of you a nice leisurely exploration of all the content. If I make it, I make it. And who knows, I could be around longer than anyone expects - stranger things have happened.
