Hello everyone! I've been with EQ2 since the very beginning but have been mostly away for quite some time. I've recently returned with a new main (Voker) and I decided to give this guy a really nice place to relax.
I chose the large manor in Halas after looking at the TON of housing that's available now. It has a kitchen, a restroom, an impressive spell study, two spacious living quarters with everything, a huge dining hall / entertainment room, a nice back patio area and my favorite, a wonderful large indoor Fae garden complete with a bar to melt the stress away!
I really like it. I hope you do too!

How Enchanting! I especially liked the Fae Grotto. Fantastic job!

There are advantages and disadvantages to all of them; personally, I prefer Sennen's, since it has a better learning curve, imho, and you don't need the WITH, WITHOUT, WORKING, WUBBA-DUBBA-WOO-WOO etc. files in addition to the one you're working on. Just save your house layout file, leave your house open, flip over to Sennen's open file, update it when it asks, boom! :D

On the other hand, there are things that Jes's can do that Sennen's can't; when I come across something like that (it's usually pretty rare), I'll treat Jes's like Notepad (I use all three, and used to be a huge fan of Notepad back in the day :D).

I liked the fact you could put in the coordinates of where you wanted to place things and boom they would go there. Although it's been so long since I used it I've totally forgotten how to do it. I really should download it for my guild hall I have some grass squares in there that I just can't get placed correctly no matter how many times I tried.

You can do that with Sennen's as well; heck, even with Notepad, though for that, you really, really have to know what you're doing with the math (and close the Notepad file once you've worked in it, then /loaded it into the house file, then re-opened Notepad to do anything else after you've done something different in the house and /saved it there...it's a pain). I've built domes out of Tiles with Notepad, and I for one appreciate the ability to do something like that, way easier, in Sennen's or JesDyr's. ;->

Comments: I purchased this house more than a decade ago, but other house projects (real and in game ) took priority. The inspiration finally hit and I decorated the house. I had long since discovered the breakout, but my husband being more adventurous than me, promptly found a hidden hole in the world and fell through it. I have put up a few barriers, so beware! Also, every time I thought I was approaching completion, my daughter urged me to explore the breakout a bit further, and so even more levels are decorated. I hope you find the house actors lively and amusing.

Hello, I have been working on this house off and on for years lol. Come and visit if you are in the neighborhood. A little about me, Newissa is my Carpenter and chief decorator if you are on HoF and want to talk decorating or want something made just send me a tell. I placed everything in this house just using the decorator mode and floor tiles lol. To find the door into the cave just follow the cliff as you come down the ramp. There is a teleporter in the tower if you don't want to bother. Hope you enjoy. Milaow

Comments: This was a group decorating project with my guild. The idea was to make something that could be used and shared with anyone, on the server. All the depots are set to visitor, The house includes some house buff items, travel items, multi forge, and Frostfell stations. I will take down and republish if I find more useful items.
