Nights of the Dead 2025 - Feedback & Bugs

Just posted this in discord, but figured I'd double up for visibility -- I just assembled the new sanguineous healer outfit, and the shoes seem to be invisible, in the sense that it leaves me with bare feet. Is this an arasai issue, or a bug with the item itself?

Update: In fact, it was neither, but a weird glitch with the legs I had in my appearance slot!

THANK YOU for getting rid of the cut scenes in the maze, enough of the vomiting fella.
Hmm! They'd taken out the stupid "I may just be a dev, but I think I'm the next Steven Spielberg! :D" forced pauses awhile back (gods, I'd hated them; both the maze center and the Training gnome); did they eliminate all of the "dialogue" (where yeah, at one point when he's talking at you, it looks like he's bringing up green mothballs) between you and Mr. Soon-to-be-Body? :-/

oh , he's still doing the emotes. It's just the whole cut scene is gone, so now you zone in and are free to move around, chat, check broker, bags and do whatever you want, AND move away from him so when he transforms you are not smacked right away. It seems to go faster than the "movie"

Amen! :D

And yeah; definitely those last few times with the "movie," it was glitching and sluggish, depending not only on the program but what your system could do. :-/

And I even -- well, not like, but appreciate -- being pounced on by the thing chasing the gnome right away, to get that fight started and done with, already. ;->

whose computer used to be so slow, the instant the "movie" was over and had faded to black, had to start mashing attack move buttons or die X-P

I got a 5% of Nights of the Dead temporary coupon this morning and one of the items listed to buy with the coupon on the MP was the Pumpkin Manor Bundle. The problem is this bundle is NOT on the MP to purchase at all. I did submit a bug report on it. I'm hoping they add the bundle before NoTD is over even if I didn't get to use my coupon :(

Def a bug. My Half elf is barefoot with only the robe, gloves, and boots on in appearance. I've tried every configuration and none of my boots show up with this robe on. When I take my gear pants off, they show up. But of course, I can't run around without my main pants on.

Correct. This is a conflict with the armor you have equipped on your legs in your appearance tab and the ones in your regular legs slot. It's likely that you don't have any legs in your appearance leg slot, as the robe chest covers both legs and chest, but that's why your leg equipment is overwriting your feet.

I bet if you were to equip "Loincloth of Imperceptible Beauty" in your appearance legs slot the appearance feet would show.

Sweet! I didn't have any of those pants, but I bought the first set of cheap pants on the broker that didn't have boots attached, and that worked! I no longer look like a total goober all decked out but...barefoot lol Thanks!

Is there any way to get a second set of Sanguineous Healers clothes? Or a second Unrest Stone Building Blocks (if in inventory or scribed)? These are from Grave Digging. I cannot seem to get more than one set of clothes or recipe scroll no matter how many hours I dig graves.

The clothes are heirloom, no-value and the building blocks are heirloom.

Gah...drat. Yeah, Heirloom stinks at times, but they have taken off that tag for some Frostfell things, so hopefully they will for those, too; especially the Unrest BBs. :-/

Books should never be restricted!

There is a way to get more. Place the heirloom pieces in your shared bank. Log on the character that can use them, move the items into their inventory from the shared bank. Return to the original character and continue.

Need to expand the radius of the new Thundering Steppe event a little on it's area. There are a few of the farmers who are outside the circle and it doesn't show you the timer or info when attacking them. These are on the other side of the rock from the giant cornstalk.

The corn needs to be toned down just a hair. They can kill players under 130 pretty quick where the players cannot do much to kill them quick in return.

Some have said the buff to chop down the corn stalks is being healed away by the mercenary. I didn't see this happen but I did notice I never had the buff more than a few seconds. Not enough time to find a cornstalk and chop it down after seeing the message in my chat window. With the above issue with the corn, the mercenary is almost essential if your not a geared up 130.

I got the new clothes from the grave digging event on one character. I have had a second out there digging and digging, they only seem to spawn various enemies to attack 2/3 of the time. Maybe check the drop rate to make sure the enemies aren't over spawning.

And while I know it's never happened in all these years, it always makes me lose hairs when I go through about 16-18 fights for the "dig up 25! :D" Achievement, and never get any XP or credit for killing a specific sort of critter. :(

/sigh

Suggestion: since the Launch Pad seems to have gone all oofty-mcgoofty and belly-up, can we extend Nights a wee bit longer this year? :-/

Since I'd made the mistake of not being on Public Test at the time The Maintenance occurred (just on US live; the only 4 servers I can get back onto now), I can't get back in there now; the basic login form "can't find that world." X-P
