It’s time to celebrate our 20th Anniversary!​

It’s hard to believe EverQuest II is two decades old! That’s right, twenty years old, and we are planning to keep going strong for years to come. We appreciate every one of you for continuing to enjoy playing the game that we enjoy creating for you! Without further ado, let’s look at what’s new and what’s coming back!

New features for '24:
  • Special Rules Servers
    • Zarrakon, Varsoon, & Kael Drakkel - the event is active, with the following exceptions (due to expansion availability):
      • a Dream Adventure
      • One Afterlife to Live
    • Live Servers
      • New collection - Samples of Fate
      • New drop item quest found amongst the celebration’s collection valuables in Freeport and Qeynos - Scattered Charms
      • 16 new items available on the Heroes' Festival house item and equipment merchants.

Are there any plans to organize raids on test server for that achievement? It still bums me out that I have it, it just doesn't show on my main character!

Colour me intrigued by the 'One Afterlife to Live' thingy. /em wonders what that might be....

this is the last quest in a quest line.
the first is Thumore's Absence , followed by Shattered Remains , and A Dream Adventure, that appears to be missing from the Varsoon server as well.


I thought we where supposed to get the quest "a Dream Adventure" on Varsoon .

Ah, thanks for the info :) I had thought it might be a server where you only had one life to live (which might be kinda interesting!).

Is it just me? I can't see the picture for 'New Rewards and Merchant Buyables.' Nevermind, I found it on the Everquest 2 site under news.

Not just you. The pictures won't load for some reason. It's good you was able to find it on the main page under news.

It's not available, Schmetterling. I don't seem to be able to pick up the quests that lead to it, either (Thumore's Absence and Shattered Remains). Maybe I'm missing something? I found the quest givers for Thumore's Absence, but they won't talk to me. And no, this character has not done that quest before.

I know Marae , but it could be a mistake, the quest was never excluded.

It's listed in the exclusions for Zarrakon, Varsoon, & Kael Drakkel in the original post. But Thumore's Absence and Shattered Remains are not, so I would expect them to be available. Was that what you thought might be a mistake? I am hoping so, and that they give them to us before the event ends....

Ok it was added, I wished they had said they missed it.
I wonder what part we don't have yet, must be the last one about worms.
