Why should the zone be that permeable in the first place? Sounds like artists' issues to me. :-/

Meh, if the past is any indication, it's just something that needs to be fixed, hopefully before too long... :-/
Well do I remember the days of yore, when I couldn't finish the really low-level from the really-old-days quest of you-MUST-do-this-to-access-the-griffin-towers travel thing ("Get us a griffin egg, or NO PUBLIC TRANSIT FOR YOU!"), a timed thing that started the instant we got the quest initially from the Griffin Tender on the beach, versus after we'd gotten the egg (Thundering Steppes, I'm looking at YOU), because after I'd risked life and limb of my poor toon to get to the egg and back with it to the closest griffin tower, the bloody twit we had to turn it back into before time ran out (and they weren't generous with time) had dropped down below the level of the platform, and there was no way we could communicate with him/her before the clock ran out. The quest recipient wouldn't reset, position-wise, at all until I'd /camped to myself, which would, of course, cancel the entire quest and I'd have to start all over again from scratch...which I couldn't do easily, because I wasn't allowed to use the Griffin Public Transit System yet, and the only way to get the quest again was to get it from the Tender on the beach. X-P
So, yeah, it's probably just another annoying glitch. X-P
