This spell was changed to a damage proc in 2018 due to a live change that trickled down to TLE.
The idea of altering your rotation to maximize fiery blast in AOE and single target was one of the best parts about this class.
I suggest changing fiery blast back to its original damage recording properties for TLE, or changing it to a 100% ability double attack bonus for ten seconds, similar to how focused casting used to operate.
