Request x10 overall increase to damage portion of this spell. This suggestion matches up with the Dirge - Doleful Thrust suggestion. This would be a spell damage increase for one spell in the knowledge book. With Dirge's being hybrid classes, a single change to the dirge DPS tool kit would not resolve all the significant lack of DPS the dirge has in it's present state.
As mentioned in the other suggestion -- Dirge DPS is crippling low, with dirge's counting on accessions and Melody of Affliction to be their only hard hitting abilities. Dirge utility is fine, however soloing, group and raid DPS is significantly below the mage utility classes and the vast majority of healers. Soloing can be slow and painful. Bard participation in groups is often dropped so another T1/T2 is added because they can easily make up the utility/DPS a bard provides. At a minimum, dirge's DPS should average above healers and equal to chanters. Increasing the damage on one primary spell and one combat art should help get dirge DPS up to what was once discussed at the T3 level...above healers and with chanters. Getting this spell up to a damage value to about half of Melody of Affliction would not over power bards and provide needed DPS boost.
