Decor for Lavastorm Winter Retreat PH

So I have the lavastorm winter retreat prestige house. I am using it as a temporary crafting place for myself and some friends of mine. I want to add some decor to it but will keep it somewhat minimal. I am looking for fire-themed stuff that matches the zone. Stuff like forges, cauldrons, dragons, etc..

If anyone knows of items that would be good for it let me know. Thanks!

Also, one added note, you can search that site ^^ by event or holiday, category, etc, on that site.
This is the category you would want to see the most. It is the Scorched Sky category. A great event for the fire themed items:
Scorched Sky category

Lavastorm also has a questline you can do which unlocks a vendor right near the globe there, that has quite a few real nice fire themed items.
I recommend you search wiki for the questline. It has been awhile, but iirc, it was not too bad, and not too long. =)

So I did that questline years ago. I am assuming we are talking about the Order of Flame faction? That's where I bought the lava carpet mount. I had given thought to checking that merchant but haven't done so yet.

Yes, I believe so. I had honestly forgotten the name because I did it like ten years ago. lol I just know they are to the left of that giant cave entrance next to the globe and they have some nice stuff there.

But it is no where near as much as the Scorched category has, like even several building block sets. All that stuff is marvelous for that house. I started doing a full fire themed deco project for my berserker in that house last year, and I had lots of fun skinning with the block sets, with the furniture Scorched offers, and how thematic it all is. Until the event rolls around, I hope you can either find some of the stuff on the broker, or have a game friend who might have some items for ya. It is too bad there are no crafted recipes from the event.

There are also a few Lavastorm-theme looking furniture items in normal advanced carp books in the lower level 50's that would look good there/match the environment.

I will see what I can find. I cant use the broker. I have been gone for so long (before the economy went to crap) that I dont have the platinum for it. Where is the NPC located that sells the scorched stuff? Also, what is the currency used for it?

Scorched is a holiday event that is meant to coincide with fourth of July in the summer. Therefore it takes place in the summer. Sadly, the vendors are only around during that event. I did not realize that you had just returned to the game and are ftp. I recommend you find a decent guild that doesn't mind helping out players. You might make friends there and find people who have some items or might be able to help you out.
What server are you on?

I am on Halls of Fate. I have my main account (which is subbed) and playing a F2P account so I can box 2 characters. I have "leveling a carpenter" on my "to-do" list...just haven't done so yet. I had no idea about the EQ2 furniture site. That will be a great reference for me in the future.

Yes, that site is THE best! I could not manage deco without. If you like deco, def a good choice to get carpy leveled. I wish I was on your server to help out. I am on SF. But if you make a post on the homeshow forum, I am betting someone on your server would help you out. Us decorators love to pass on our decorator passion to others! ;)

Welcome back and I wish you good luck!

Despite all the gripes I have had through the years (definitely latter years) about things wrong with the game overall; one thing that has been done right is the housing overall. The possibilities are near limitless.
