cloud gem - trouble with mark object in Aether Wroughtlands

The cloud gem for the Weatherland mark item is up under the rocks with just a little of it sticking out. I can click it and see the paper with the pen, but I cannot fly high enough to get it to mark my name on any of my toons.

Are you trying to fly up from the ground? You have to take the cloud up to Al'Balatin Terrace and then fly under the island, otherwise you'll always hit the 'ceiling', because it's set to prevent allowing you to fly through manually.
