In Progress Census isn't updating for some toons since expac

Not updating. Took everting off dumped aa's killed mounts, merc and familiar. Set my toon to NOT export which in theory should prohibit it from showing in census, and yet, it's still there. Oh, zoned, and camped out.

If you were sharing your information before, it'll probably always show the information up to that point, it just shouldn't update any further.

It is definitely character-specific -- out of seven characters who I log in at least once a day to check plants/ponies/overseers, just two are frozen -- annoyingly, those two also happen to be the ones with whom I raid.

My understanding of the export is that if turned off you do not show in the export. I've observed it working that way in the past if it no longer works that way it is an unannounced change.

Yes, but if you exported previously, your information is already out there. It just doesn't update. I don't believe the export tells sites to delete information each time, it just adds to existing information.

The well known queries from eq2wire (eq2u) are live calls to the Daybreak data base. If disabled for that character eq2u returns "Error Loading Character"

To make sure there wasn't some change, I tested it again.

I unequipped everything, camped out and ran the direct query which returned the correct results of wearing nothing.

Then l logged back on, and in the character screen options under eq2share disabled updates in eq2players.

I again logged out and ran the direct query which returned nothing as I expected it to do. Further, I attempted to get eq2u to give me a lookup and I got the expected error message and no data.

So, if the updates are working correctly, when you disable updates, a query against the Daybreak census will not return your information. I can't predict what might happen if something is amiss in the census update process within Daybreak.

Now it hit a second character of mine (Bakual). All he did is taking the Tishan's box and applying the adornments to the already better gear (passed down from main). Now he is bugged as well.
With another char, I did the same and it still updates so far. So it seems to be quite random.
