Arnaut the Scribe black rune

Howdy folks Finished and got the Arnaut the Scribe rune and also got a relic feet ... so put the rune in the foot black slot. My Critical bonus was 45k in the blue but when I equipped the rune it went down to 43k. I may be a bit looney, but should not critical bonus have gone up instead of down???? It said 25,000 critical over cap on the black rune. I am I bit confused. Any reply is always appreciated

critical bonus overcap raises the cap for critical bonus. It doesnt add to critical bonus in a normal sense. No idea why your crit bonus dropped. Did you remove gear that had crit bonus? removed/replace an adorn? Perhaps a mount was unsummoned? familiar dropped? merc unsummoned?
